How to compete with cheap web hosts?

Now how many of you have asked this question from your self, how on earth these people give away such huge chunks of space for peanuts? Well the answer is simple, because non of us ever gonna use that much space even in our dreams, and these cheap web hosts knows it back in their mind, and even if some crackoo signup with such cheap web hosting service and fill up his account with  all the garbage he can find, they still can use their terms of service (TOS) and kick him out out. Because they will surely find something that violates their TOS.

Another thing we should keep in our mind is that, anyone whose offering this much of space for such low price usually over sell there severs like hell, so the end customer will never getta good service as they expect. When you over load your severs with tons of clients the operational quality of a web sever decreases dramatically. And it will directly has an impact with the sever uptime level. So cheap hosting is all about quantity over quality, Where as it should be quality over quantity. But there’s nothing anyone can do about this since there is a ready made market for this type of hosting.

Personally i don’t think this is a big issue that anyone should be concerned about, Because they target a different segment of customers, and from my own experience i know that sometimes its a big turn off when someone is offering something for very cheap price tag, And further more some web hosts go to the extent of giving away free web hosting in large quantities but still there’s a segment of people who would say no thanks lolz, So why bother, let them sell for cheap customers while the rest can depend on the more quality clients who would pay a anything over $6.95 for a quality web hosting service.
